Louis Szekely, known professionally as Louis C.K., is an American stand-up comedian, Emmy-winning television and film writer, actor, producer, and director.

Chewed Up, his second stand-up comedy special, was recorded on March 1, 2008 and filmed at the Berklee Performance Center in Boston. The special premiered on Showtime on October 4, 2008 and went on to be nominated for an Emmy Award for "Outstanding Writing in a Comedy or Variety Special".
